Spinal muscular atrophy (SMA) is a rare genetic and progressive neuromuscular condition occurring in approximately 1 in 6,000 to 10,000 live births.
SMA has many different faces. Our SMA Europe community is an example of how diverse the condition is and how many different manners exist when it comes to living with it.
During our 2023 Awareness Campaign, we want to share 11 beautiful stories of different people who live with SMA across Europe. This is a journey that is as exciting as it is full of emotion and we want you to join us in it.
